Think Differently
Since the mixed composition of our broadcasting team (youth of both Greek and immigrant background), we will attempt through a weekly two-hour show, to highlight issues that concern young people in the Greek society.
We believe, however, that the emergence and promotion of issues related to immigration, social issues and in particular the issues of second-generation immigrants, by themselves, will be a key pillar of the show. We will try to abandon the usual practice of people talking on behalf of the second generation immigrants. The second generation immigrants have a voice and they can be heard, they can talk about issues that concern them. At the same time we want to stop the diachronical separation that the youth with immigrant origin (or otherwise second-generation immigrants) has to suffer in relation to their friends and peers promoting the idea of a new generation in Greece, a new generation of Greeks that fits everyone, a generation with common problems and dreams for the future. The content of the show will include top stories, phone interviews, cultural sessions, interviews and guests in the show, music, street shows and promotion of good practices. Our goal is to promote a social message and to awake people, despite the financial crisis in Greece. At least we will try to do something.
